Hon. Lawrence Agyinsam Donates Farm Inputs and Cash Worth GHC 20,000 to Showboy Foundation

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Heman Lower Denkyira Constituency, Hon. Lawrence Agyinsam, has donated farm inputs and cash amounting to GHC 20,000.00 to the Showboy Foundation as part of efforts to promote agribusiness and youth empowerment.

The donation, which took place during the joint launch of the Showboy Foundation and Showboy Agroecology Fun Club, included Wellington boots, cutlasses, spraying machines, and other essential farming tools.

Presenting the items, Hon. Agyinsam pledged his commitment to supporting the Foundation in its mission to enhance agricultural productivity and create opportunities for young people in the constituency. He assured the leadership of the Showboy Foundation that he would collaborate with them to promote agribusiness initiatives.

The MP further noted that agriculture remains a backbone of the economy and encouraged students in both basic and senior high schools to take interest in farming. He also pledged to support the Foundation’s CEO in sensitizing students about the importance of agriculture to national development.

Receiving the donation, the Chief Executive Officer of Showboy Foundation, Mr. Isaac Agyiri, popularly known as Showboy, expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Agyinsam for the timely support. He assured the MP that the farm inputs would be put to good use in advancing the Foundation’s agricultural projects.

Mr. Agyiri also used the opportunity to appeal to Ghanaian youth to embrace agriculture as a viable venture, stressing that farming is not only a source of livelihood but also a path to economic independence.

The event was attended by stakeholders, community leaders, and youth groups who commended the partnership between the MP and the Showboy Foundation, describing it as a step in the right direction toward youth empowerment and sustainable agriculture.
