Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim Supports Farmers Ahead of Farmers’ Day, Holds Strategic Meeting with Kumawu DCE

The Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has reinforced his commitment to agricultural development and local governance through a working visit to the Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly, where he engaged in a high-level discussion with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Kwasi Amankwaa, on key development priorities within the district.
During the strategic meeting, the MP and the DCE reviewed ongoing projects and explored new opportunities aimed at improving infrastructure, enhancing public services, and accelerating socio-economic growth across the constituency. Hon. Anim emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between his office and the District Assembly to ensure that development initiatives are effectively aligned with the needs of residents.

As part of his continuous support to the agricultural sector, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim also donated essential farming tools to local farmers ahead of this year’s National Farmers’ Day celebration. The items included wellington boots, cutlasses, and knapsack sprayers—tools expected to boost efficiency and ease the burden on farmers as they prepare for the coming farming season.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Anim described farmers as indispensable partners in national development, noting that their hard work sustains households, supports food security, and contributes significantly to the constituency’s economic progress. He reaffirmed his resolve to continue promoting initiatives that empower farmers and strengthen the agricultural value chain.

The donation has been warmly welcomed by beneficiary farmers and community stakeholders, who praised the MP for consistently demonstrating practical dedication to their welfare. They lauded the gesture as timely, especially with the Farmers’ Day celebration approaching.

Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim’s working visit and support to farmers form part of his broader vision to foster inclusive development, enhance local productivity, and ensure that the Kumawu Constituency remains on a steady path of growth and transformation.
