MobileMoney LTD Rewards First Monthly Winners in Exciting “Me Nsa Aka” Promo

MobileMoney Limited (MoMo), a subsidiary of MTN Ghana, has rewarded winners of the first monthly draw in its ongoing “Me Nsa Aka” promotion, marking another milestone in its commitment to reward loyal customers and deepen engagement on the MoMo App platform.

The draw, conducted under the supervision of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) in Accra, saw Mr. Hillary Kwaku Angua Mante from Accra emerging as the overall winner for the month, walking away with a cash prize of GHS 5,000 e-cash. Two other participants, Mr. Charles Benjamin McCarthy and Mr. Joseph King Martey, both from Accra, also received GHS 3,000 each in e-cash for their active participation in the promotion.

Speaking at the event, the Senior Manager for Channel Distribution at MobileMoney LTD, Abdul Majeed Rufai, expressed his delight about the overwhelming positive feedback from customers who continue to use the MoMo App for their everyday financial transactions. He commended users for embracing the app’s features and reaffirmed the company’s dedication to delivering value through seamless digital financial experiences.

“The MoMo App offers customers unique value propositions that enhance their experience in undertaking various financial transactions. This promotion provides customers with the opportunity to qualify and win exciting prizes while performing transactions such as bank services, payments, insurance, savings, and many more,” he said.

Mr. Rufai further emphasized that the promotion aligns with MobileMoney LTD’s Platform Business Agenda, which seeks to create opportunities for partners to grow while fostering stronger relationships within Ghana’s fintech ecosystem. He noted that the promotion has already led to a significant increase in transactions between customers and MoMo’s ecosystem partners. “Our observation since the start of the promotion is that transactions to our partners have significantly increased, thereby strengthening our collaboration with fintech industry players, and we are very excited about that,” he added.

The first monthly winner, Mr. Hillary Kwaku Angua Mante, expressed deep appreciation to MobileMoney LTD for keeping its promise to reward loyal customers. Overjoyed by his win, he encouraged Ghanaians to download and actively use the MoMo App, emphasizing the convenience, security, and reliability it provides for all forms of financial transactions.

The “Me Nsa Aka” promo, which was launched in September 2025, is part of MTN MoMo’s customer reward initiative designed to recognize and appreciate users who transact frequently through the MoMo App. The promotion offers daily, weekly, and monthly cash rewards, as well as other exciting prizes, to customers who continue to make payments, send money, or access other financial services on the platform.

Since its launch, more than 2,000 customers across the country have already been rewarded with cash prizes, Y’ello Biz routers, and other valuable gifts. With over GHS 1.5 million worth of prizes still available, the promotion is expected to continue generating excitement until it ends on December 15, 2025. At the end of the campaign, the customer with the highest transaction value will receive a grand prize of GHS 100,000, a life-changing reward that highlights MoMo’s commitment to giving back to its users.

To qualify for the promotion, customers are encouraged to perform transactions above GHS 100 on the MoMo App, which is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The company believes that the promo is not only rewarding but also helps to deepen financial inclusion by motivating more customers to adopt digital payment solutions.

MobileMoney LTD has also cautioned customers to be vigilant and beware of scammers who may attempt to use the promotion as an avenue for fraudulent activity.
