Ernest Yaw Anim, has donated a brand-new motorbike to the Sekyere Police Station as part of his unwavering commitment to enhancing security and improving law enforcement operations across the constituency. The presentation, which took place on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, marks another significant milestone in the MP’s ongoing efforts to resource key institutions for effective service delivery.
During the ceremony, Hon. Anim explained that the donation was informed by the urgent need to address the persistent mobility challenges confronting police officers in the area. According to him, inadequate transportation has long hindered efficient patrol operations and delayed police response times, particularly in hard-to-reach communities. He emphasized that equipping the police with reliable mobility tools is essential to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of residents.

Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim noted that the motorbike will greatly enhance patrol duties, improve visibility in crime-prone areas, and facilitate prompt responses to emergencies. He called on the police officers to make good use of the motorbike for its intended purpose and to cultivate a culture of proper maintenance to prolong its lifespan. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting institutions whose work directly impacts the development and security of the Kumawu constituency.

Receiving the donation, authorities at the Sekyere Police Station expressed profound gratitude to the MP for the timely intervention. They described the motorbike as a major boost to their operational capacity, especially at a time when expanding communities and increasing population growth have placed greater demands on their limited resources. The police assured Hon. Anim that the motorbike would be used strictly to enhance security in the area and improve crime prevention efforts.

Community members who witnessed the presentation commended the MP for his practical leadership and responsiveness to the needs of the constituency. Many noted that improved police mobility will significantly enhance safety and help reduce crime-related incidents that previously went unaddressed due to logistical constraints.

The donation adds to a growing list of development-focused interventions championed by Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim. His commitment to resourcing public institutions continues to earn him praise from traditional leaders, stakeholders, and residents across Kumawu.

Hon. Anim reiterated that he will continue working closely with security agencies, community leaders, and development partners to ensure the constituency benefits from improved safety, infrastructure development, and sustainable progress.
