The ‘Witches And Wizards’ Association Sent A ‘Strong Warning’ To Nana Addo And Okyenhene

Following the recent hike in prices of goods and services in the country; the fast depreciation of the Ghana cedis and others, a group calling itself ‘The Concern Villagers, Witches And Wizards Association’, has descended heavily on the Nana Addo’ government, and sounding ‘great warning’ to the Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin II.

The group lamented over the recent and frequent increases in the prices of food items on the market, leading to high cost of living among the poor in Ghana.

According to them, the price of 25-litre cooking oil (which was GH80 during John Mahama’s time); is said to have ‘high jumped’ from current price (of GH¢380 under Nana Addo), to about GH¢1200 and more, within the last few months.

Again, according to them, “the price of a 25 kg bag of rice has shot up from GH¢195 last year to GH¢390; while a carton of chicken has shot up, from GH¢125 per 10 kg in July, to GH¢300”; and same with every other food items in the markets.

The group in a video post on Social Media has also lamented on the current difficulties hitting the country due the poor performance of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on the Ghanaian economy.

In the Video post, the so-called group ‘leader’ explained that, in comparison, the current president; President Nana Addo is nowhere near former President John Dramani Mahama in terms of performance and management of the economy. And also, the living conditions during the leadership of John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is far better than this time under the current President.

The group went ahead to warn President Nana Addo to ‘fire’ his cousin the Finance Minister, or else; they (The Concern Villagers, Witches And Wizards Association), will never stop ‘raining attacks’ on him and his government. They added that, they will make Nana Addo’s remaining two years in office very miserable if he ignore their warnings..

Again; the leader of ‘The Concern Villagers, Witches And Wizards Association’, has ‘packaged’ tons of insults to the Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II, following his recent utterances.

The Paramount Chief of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II was recently heard saying; that people who insult the President, Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo, are villagers and witches.

Addressing a congregation at St Mark Anglican Church at Kyebi, on Sunday, October 23, the Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II said, any Ghanaian who has the habit of insulting President Nana Akufo-Addo over the economic hardships are uncivilized, witches and not well nurtured.

Grading these Okyenhene’s comments as ‘first degree insult’ to the suffering Ghanaians, ‘The Concern Villagers, Witches And Wizards Association’, said Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin’s comment is unfortunate and ill informed; adding that he lacks appreciation of how tough things are in the country.

They added that, any Ghanaian with the same kind of mentality, like Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II, is a true child of a ‘witch’, ‘wizard’ and a real ‘villager’.

They returned the Okyenhene’s own comment back to him, saying; “Unless you are a descendant of a villager; or you are uncivilized, or have not been brought up well, you will not speak against the suffering Ghanaians”.

And again to President Nana Addo his government, ‘The Concern Villagers, Witches And Wizards Association’ leader said, ‘though government can fail at anytime, President Nana Addo and the NPP fraternity are ‘group of losers’; and have successfully recorded themselves into the ‘Guinness Book Of Records’, as the worst government in the Africans history.
