Solomon Owusu writes: Alan is not a Failure but an Achiever, Asset for today and tomorrow

A news item attributed to one Mr. Owusu Ansah who happens to be a campaign team member of ALHAJI Mahamudu Bawumia has only exposed the low appreciation of him and his team in our governance structure and therefore must be exposed.

It has become the habit of the team members of ALHAJI Bawumia having seen their campaign fall in gutters now want to go on the the attacking spree with falsehood just to create a situation of equalization in terms of incompetence which seems to be the apt description of their candidate who has run away from the economy.

Mr. Owusu Ansah claims Alan is a failure because he failed to put back to work, the Komenda sugar factory. It is interesting that he failed to give the current state of the Komenda sugar factory but decided to throw in only falsehood. Komenda sugar factory at the time Alan was leaving the Trade ministry was 98% complete. A test run had taking place with the source of sugar as the raw materia for the interim identified.

Again his reason for calling Alan a failure is to the effect that he failed to handle the One District One Factory well. It is interesting he could not remember that his new found candidate ALHAJI Bawumia has praised the 1D1Fseverally on its success rate. The One District One Factory Policy that has led to the operationalisation of 126 factories, employing more than 160,000 Ghanaians, how will anybody that is well into the happenings of this country draw the conclusion that it has failed.

The 2020 elections of the Npp was prosecuted with the One District, One Factory Policy and based on the success story of it, Ghanaians retained the Npp in power. It has been a successful policy that was spearheaded by Mr. Kyerematen and we know that it is one of the reasons everywhere he visits, Ghanaians naturally give him an overwhelming endorsement.

I would have been happy if he was bold enough to tell us what his candidate Bawumia has done that surpasses the achievement of Alan in terms of the running of the economy. There is none. I will entreat Mr.Owusu Ansah who came to request for $300,000 from the Alan campaign team which he never got,to do clean campaign in their new found camp. We know money can induce however conscience matters.

He should do well to try and get ALHAJI Bawumia a campaign message or a Plan that he will run the country with and not delve into areas that he has no clue about.
