Family of the late Prampram Mankralo in the Greater Accra Region, Nene Atsure Benta III, has marked 3 years of the his demise, called it “Heartbreaking”
If Ghanaians could remember, the deceased, Nene Atsure Benta III, was shot in the head and rib by an armed men at an intersection at Appolonia while on his way from a meeting at the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs at Dodowa in December 14, 2018
He was found in a pool of blood in the driver’s seat in his Mercedes Benz car with registration number GT 6618 T.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the health facility.
Today, in statement released by his family, they said it still breaks their heart but thank God for the lives of the family.
“We immensely thank the Almighty God for seeing us through this day.
“We give all glory to God for his kindness towards this noble family since the untimely death of our noble brother, father, uncle and the pride of Obonu We at prampram.
As we say Vengeance is the Lord’s, the family stated that, they stayed calm knowingly that, judgement on the unknown assailant will one day be served.
They called on the Religious leaders and other institutions to protect the right of innocent Ghanaians.
“We however, call on the religious bodies such as Religious council, Ghana Catholic Bishops Ghana Islamic Association and others to keep their eyes on the Nene Atsure Benta’s murder case by ensuring that the right of innocent citizens, dead or alive are protected and appropriately, punish perpetrators.
” It has been one of the biggest tragedies that has befall our dear nation but we trust it to the judiciary and Ghana Police would make family of Nene Atsure Benta III as well as the entire nation proud and dealing with those cases with a touch of patriotism and professionalism”
The in the statement concluded that, even though they’re relying on the state to fight and operate justice, they will make sure put resources together and seek for justice.
“We the descendants of Nene Nii Nartey Agbo and all those who are in love with us will put all resources and intelligence together and fight and seek for justice for our late brother, Nene Atsure Benta”
