STOP VIOLATING HUMAN RIGHTS; MR. ASUO BAFFOUR TO VIOLATORS

Mr. David Asuo Baffour, Coordinator of the Ministry of Encouragement Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Pankrono-Kumasi, has advised all human rights violators to refrain from all forms of violence or cruelty perpetrated against another person at home, school, or workplace.

Speaking to Sikka News reporter Kwabena Antwi Bosiako, he said, the Ministry of Encouragement Foundation is vehemently opposed to all forms of human rights abuse, particularly against women and children.

Mr. Asuo Baffour said that any time human abuse cases pop-up, they should make the perpetrators involved face the full force of the law.

In addition, Mr. Baffour disclosed that the Ministry of Encouragement Foundation has a unit called the “Psychosocial Support Department,” which aims to develop and implement community action plans on psychosocial support, follow up of street children in the community, provision of counselling services, community-based reception and rehabilitation of street children, and referrals of severe cases to other specialized service providers, so their doors are open to help everyone suffering from all forms of human rights abuses.

Furthermore, Mr. David Asuo Bafour
called on all human rights victims to open-up on violence issues as he said the “Ekueme” hitmaker died as a result of her husband’s alleged perpetual domestic abuse.
