Manso Adubia NDC Launches 2024 Campaign with Health Walk; Vice Chairman Pledges 65% Victory

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Manso Adubia constituency has officially kicked off its 2024 campaign with a vibrant health walk that drew hundreds of enthusiastic supporters. The event, held over the weekend, saw party members and executives, clad in the signature NDC colors, marching through the streets of Manso Adubia. Their show of solidarity and energy was a bold statement of the party’s readiness to secure victory in the upcoming general elections.

The health walk, which served as the formal launch of the NDC’s campaign efforts in the constituency, was attended by key party figures. Mr. Stephen Agbalenyo, the constituency’s vice chairman, addressed the supporters, expressing confidence in the party’s chances. He set an ambitious target for the NDC, aiming to secure 65% of the votes in the constituency.

“We are optimistic about the 2024 election, and we believe that the people of Manso Adubia are ready for change,” Mr. Agbalenyo declared. “Our target is to win 65% of the vote here, and with the enthusiasm we are seeing, we know it is possible. The NPP has failed the people, and we are ready to deliver the development they need.”

The vice chairman emphasized the party’s commitment to grassroots campaigning, urging supporters to stay focused and united in their quest for victory. He also called on the youth and women in the constituency to play an active role in the campaign, stressing the importance of spreading the NDC’s message of hope and development.

In his speech, Mr. Agbalenyo also reiterated the party’s belief that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has not lived up to its promises, citing lack of development in key sectors such as education, infrastructure, and healthcare. He assured supporters that an NDC government would prioritize the needs of the people and deliver on its promises.

*NDC Parliamentary Candidate Outlines Vision for Manso Adubia*

Hon. Benjamin Marfo, the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Manso Adubia constituency, also took the opportunity to share his vision for the constituency. He pledged to focus on improving education and skills development, promising to establish a scholarship fund to assist students facing financial difficulties.

“I will establish a scholarship fund to support the students of Manso Adubia who are struggling to further their education due to financial difficulties,” Hon. Marfo said. “We also need a Technical and Vocational Institute in this constituency to provide practical skills for our youth. I will lobby for the establishment of such an institution to help our young people gain employable skills and improve their livelihoods.”

He highlighted the critical need for technical and vocational training in the constituency, stressing that many young people lack the skills needed to secure jobs. By establishing a vocational institute, Hon. Marfo aims to provide a lasting solution to the challenge of unemployment in Manso Adubia.

*Criticism of Incumbent MP and NPP Government*

Hon. Marfo did not shy away from criticizing the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, and the ruling NPP government, accusing them of neglecting the constituency’s development needs. He expressed disappointment with the state of infrastructure, particularly the poor road network and inadequate healthcare facilities.

“The NPP and Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo have failed the people of Manso Adubia. After so many years in office, there is little to show in terms of development. The roads are bad, healthcare is a challenge, and education is suffering. It’s time for real change,” he stressed.

Hon. Marfo further assured the constituents that if given the mandate in 2024, he would work tirelessly to transform the constituency within four years. He emphasized that the NDC’s track record of delivering on its promises would be evident in Manso Adubia if he were elected as their representative.

*Party Supporters Energized*

The health walk and campaign launch were a visible testament to the NDC’s commitment to engaging with the grassroots. Party supporters marched through the streets of Manso Adubia with placards bearing messages of change, while chanting party slogans and voicing their support for both the parliamentary candidate and the presidential candidate of the NDC.

As the NDC gears up for what is expected to be a hotly contested election in 2024, the Manso Adubia constituency is poised to become a battleground. With the party leadership setting a 65% vote target, the campaign has gained momentum, fueled by promises of change and development that resonate with many in the constituency.

The NDC has signaled its intent to challenge the incumbent NPP government in Manso Adubia, with hopes of reclaiming the seat and driving forward their agenda of progress and prosperity for the people.
