31st Watch Night: KMA Boss Visits churches in Kumasi

 

Mayor for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon Samuel Pyne on the night of 31st December 2022 visited some churches in the Kumasi Metropolis.

Church he visited includes ,Assemblies of God church at Dichemso and
also proceeded to Bantama church of pentecost in the Bantama Sub-metro.

Delivering his new year message to entire congregation, the mayor of Kumasi admonished church members to flee from selfishness and greediness and support the president to turn up the bad state of the economy.

According to him a lot of traders who are also church members are taking the advantage of the cedi depreciation to charge customers meanwhile these same traders are all Christians preaching and listen to the word of God all the time.

It is quiet unfortunately to see some of our business women on our roads and as leader if you decided to do the right thing by allowing the law to take it course these same traders will will come and attack you.

why do we glorify evils as Christians, this is bad and it will never help us in anyway. he added.

The president his Excellence Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo is poised to send this country to the promise Land and this is why he has abled to enroll so many policies to rescue the people from poverty and for that matter we should all come together and support him to deliver.

In conclusion Hon. Samuel Pyne commended the role of churches in this country which he appealed to them to continue praying for the president and Ghana as whole.

 

Rev Collins  Okine head pastor and  other associate Pastors and the entire congregation and covered the government official with a defensive prayer by calling on God to pass out judgement and fight against enemies who will initiate evil plans against him this year 2023.

Rev Collins Okine pleaded God to Grant him Hon Samuel Pyne dominion in his administration, much favour .

He finally called on God to protect all those working under him at the assembly.

Prior to the foregoing, the workaholic Mayor Hon Samuel Pyne in his statement to the church touched on how God had been kind to the Metropolis and Ghana as a whole during the year 2022.

He said he strongly believed that 2023 year Will be a good year.

workaholic major charged the congregation urged Ghanaians to desist from the habit of dumping of refuse into the gutters to prevent flooding in the area cleanliness is next to Godliness he added.

He said nation building is a share responsibility to all of us.

On his part, Apostle Yaw Agyei Kwarteng Bompata area Head of church of pentecost  also appealing to Ghanaians to walk with the honesty and fear of God as Christians.

He urged the believers to stay away from extortion and cheating since Christianity is all about truthfulness honesty.
