The workaholic and stout-hearted NPP Parliamentary candidate for Tamale South Constituency, Alhaji Fuseini Musah has commenced the full dredging of Kobilmahagu Dam close to Gbewaa Residential Area.

The dam served the good people of Kobilmahagu, Kukuo, Jakarayili, and parts of Vittin in the Tamale South Constituency. However, the dam dried up leaving the good people especially women in great difficulties as the source of water in the areas mentioned above.

Today Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Alhaji Fuseini Musah and his Team together with the NPP Constituency Executives led by Chairman Mozieli were in the community for the commencement of the dredging of the Dam.

In effect, this important project is part of the bigger agenda of the Parliamentary candidate to serve the good people of Tamale South Constituency who are faced with lack of basic needs and other developmental challenges under the NDC Member of Parliament for close to 20 years.

The revered Chief of the community, Nyab Kpamahinaa was in attendance to witness this momentous start of the project and he expressed his profound gratitude and happiness for the dredging of the dam, which came at the right time to salvage the dire situation they are facing in terms of water shortage during the dry season when the Dam dries up and of no use to the people.

Additionally, the women both young and adult were also there in attendance to have first-hand information on the commencement of the dredging. Some of the women narrate what they went through due to the inability of the Dam to last long for various household chores, bathing, and washing of clothes.

Interestingly, the women pledged to fully support Alhaji Fuseini Musah in the December 7 Parliamentary elections for the show of incomparable leadership qualities of care, love, and empathy towards humanity.

In conclusion, Alhaji Fuseini Musah took the opportunity to thank the revered Chief and the good people of Kobilmahagu and the surrounding areas. He also announced to the good people steps taken so far to dredge other Dams in the communities like Kakpagyili, Jakarayili, Kalariga, Fooshegu, etc.

The new paradigm shift is set in motion to safeguard and to bring more Development.
