In a bid to motivate academic excellence and support the educational aspirations of young learners, the Chief Executive Officer of the Kofi Adade Foundation, Hon. Kofi Adade, has unveiled a special reward package for outstanding candidates in the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Under the initiative, students who achieve aggregates ranging from six ones (6) to ten ones (10) will receive trunks, chalk-box kits, and school prospectuses to facilitate their transition into senior high school. The program targets candidates from Adum Kwanwoma and Aboabo-Kesse in the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipality, as well as Abrepo in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
Promoting Academic Excellence
Speaking to journalists after touring several schools within the beneficiary communities, Hon. Adade explained that the initiative is part of the foundation’s broader commitment to fostering quality education and encouraging academic excellence among young learners.

He highlighted that many brilliant students often face challenges when preparing for senior high school, particularly in acquiring essential items required for boarding school life. The reward package, he noted, is intended to ease this burden while motivating candidates to strive for excellent results.
“We believe that recognizing and rewarding excellence is one of the most effective ways to inspire students. When young people know their hard work will be appreciated, they become more determined to succeed,” Hon. Adade stated.
He further added that the program aims to elevate academic standards within schools in the Atwima Kwanwoma area and surrounding communities while fostering healthy competition among BECE candidates.
Encouragement Tour for Students
During his visit to the schools, Hon. Adade engaged directly with candidates preparing for the national examination. He urged them to stay focused, maintain discipline, and have confidence in their ability to achieve exceptional results.
“Education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and communities,” he remarked, encouraging students to dedicate themselves fully as they prepare for the examination that will determine their placement into senior high schools.
Teachers and school administrators who witnessed the visit commended the foundation for the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will inspire students to aim higher in their academic pursuits.
Commitment to Community Development
The Kofi Adade Foundation has a long-standing record of implementing social interventions that support education, youth empowerment, and community development. Hon. Adade emphasized that investing in education continues to be a key pillar of the foundation’s activities.

“Our goal is to ensure that no brilliant student is discouraged from excelling due to lack of motivation or support,” he added. The foundation plans to continue introducing programs that encourage young people to pursue excellence and become responsible future leaders.
