THE APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE HAS RECOMMEND 13 OUT OF 46 OF HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT’S NOMINATIONS FOR MINISTERIAL AND REGIONAL MINISTERIAL APPROVAL

Pursuant to Articles 78 (1) and 256 (1) of the Constitution of Ghana the nominees of H. E., the President for Ministerial and Regional Ministerial appointments were communicated to Parliament on 22″ January, 2021.

A total number of forty-six (46) names, comprising thirty (30) Ministers of State and sixteen (16) Regional Ministers designates were submitted to the Committee for

consideration and recommendation to the House. However, considering the numbers involved, the Committee agreed to report in batches. The First Report of the Committee,

therefore, covers 13 out of the 46 nominees. The rest would be covered in subsequent reports of the Committee.

CONCLUSION AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATION

The Committee has duly considered the nominations of His Excellency the President

for Ministerial appointments in line with the 1992 Constitution and Standing Orders of
the House and recommends the following nominces to the House for approval.
