Dr. Kingsley Nyarko’s Hard work Will Yield Historic Results in Kwadaso ~ Hon. Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto

 

Honourable Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the revered Cabinet Minister, and Minister of Food and Agriculture under the Government of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana, has lauded Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Kwadaso Constituency for the ingenious, innovative, thoughtful and strenuous campaign strategy employed. He continued that, the enormity of the Health Walk, and its unifying ambience occasioned, is a first of its kind in the constituency and Ghana, and so, constituents should be wary to rally around Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, give him all the needed support, and harness the full potentials of his exceptional qualities. 

Kwadaso Constituency, on Saturday 24th October, 2020, had its entire environs and streets decorated with NPP colors and individuals in ecstatic mood, when Dr. Kingsley Nyarko together with the Constituency’s NPP Executives and campaign team members organized a health walk and medical screening in the Constituency.

The “Thank You Nana Akufo-Addo” Health Walk and Medical Screening dubbed “Ghana Walks With Kingsley”, which attracted over ten thousand (10,000) participants, commenced from Agric-Nzima Roman at 5:00am, went through Sofoline and finally came to an end at the University of Education, Winneba – Kumasi campus (UEW-K), where a mini rally was held.

Hon. Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto was a Member of Parliament (MP) of Kwadaso between January 2009 and January 2017. He is the only MP of the Constituency who has served for two (2) terms after the Constituency was curved out of the Bantama Constituency in 2004.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto christened “The Legend” remarked that, the enthusiasm and zeal put into the organization of the Health Walk and the entire campaign is both historic and a novelty which should be religiously guarded and sustained by the Constituency. He added that, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko is a humble, affable and respectful individual; traits going to transcend his political growth and development. He further admonished the gathering to work hard to aid the victory of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because a maintenance of the President for another four (4) more years would mean another four more years of continuous infrastructural, economical, health, financial, educational, industrial, agricultural, digital, democratic, centralized and decentralized governance, and other forms of developments for Ghanaians.

The Minister of Food and Agriculture in furtherance postulated that, the NPP deserved a resounding victory of more than 95%, so, it is incumbent on party members to continue to actively work hard to ensure a total victory in the upcoming General Elections slated for Monday 7th December, 2020 by voting the Number One (1) for both President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Kingsley Nyarko.

Notable achievements of Hon. Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto as the substantive Minister of Food and Agriculture include Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ), Planting for Exports and Rural Development (PERD), Agricultural Mechanization, Increase in the Number of Extension Officers Per Community, Equipment of Extension Officers with the Necessary Logistics such as Motorbikes, Wellington boots and others, Rearing for Food and Jobs (RFJ), Greenhouse Farming Technology, among others. These achievements in furtherance have aided in the promotion of food security and sufficiency, formal and informal employment, resources for the local industries, economic growth, reduction in agricultural food imports but increase in exports, poverty alleviation, rural development and others.
