The Royal family members of sekyere kwamang in the Ashanti Region
is appealing to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II to call their Abusuapanin of the Aduana family to order help resolve the chieftaincy dispute over who is rightful person to elect as next chief of sekyere kwamang.
According to the aggrieved aduana family ,their Abusuapanin Mr Kwame Bonsu secretly conived with six (6) person’s from kwamang traditional council to elect his nephew to be the next chief of sekyere kwamang which all the family members are not aware of it.
According to them the situation was currently brewing tension among the family members in the area.
“We believe that the earlier Otumfuo steps into this matter the better it would be for us because the tensions the dispute is brewing can explode anytime if we fail to douse the flames,”
They are calling on otumfuo to come in to settle of whose right it is to choose the next chief of sekyere kwamang.
“We are being deprived of the development we deserve due to the conflict and we believe the intervention of the Overlord of Asanteman would cure this problem and help us to live in peace which is the catalyst for development and progress”, the family members stated.
