NGleshie Alata Laafa Marked Annual Homowo

The Chief of Nleshie Alata Laafa, Nii Ayi Okufobour, he encourage the youth be engage in something doing rather than thinking how to make quick money and was happy the cement factory project is being sited on his land.

He appealed to the investors to employ majority of the work force from Weija and its environs.

He congratulated both the investors, Empire Cement Limited, and the Municipal Assembly for the bold decision to site such a project in the municipality.

He, also, appealed to the potential employers to create an enabling environment for their employees.

Nii Ayi Okufobour I, call for unity within the Ga State and by so doing will encouraged government pay the royalties that is due to them.

He urge that Ga traditional authority must make sure those have occupied thrown without proper lineage must pave way for those who hails from the lineage.

According to him, the only reason why those who are not hails from any lineage wanted be chief is because of land.

So such people are always in the hasty to become chief at cost to enable them come and sell the lands indiscriminately.

He call on Ga people to wise up and stop allowing allien to rule or occupied any traditional position in Ga state because in future it will bring problem to the generation unborn.

Nii Okufobour I, sprinkled the kpokpoi through the principal streets of weija as part it’s annual Homowo festival celebration.

He pray for peace and unity in the Ga State during and after Homowo.
