A 12 year old Anabel aka Maame Yaa has left her parents in the state of fear and sorrow after missing on Saturday.
According to Mrs. Ophelia Serwaa (More), crying mother of the child, her daughter suddenly disappeared from the house on Saturday evening at about 7:00pm. The child who is chocolate in colour and stands about 3 feet tall left home while wearing a black top and a skirt.
Speaking to this reporter, the crying mother further revealed that the most fearful part that shakes the family is that the girl child is a stranger who was recently brought to Kumasi from Berekum in the Bono region. Which means she’s not familiar in the city.
Several attempts to find the girl’s whereabouts after reporting to the police has proven futile. “My girl is a new form one student at the Ahwiaa Experimental JHS who was just registered about days ago. “We can’t eat after her disappearance because she’s a stranger who doesn’t know anyone here apart from us the parents”, she sorrowfully revealed.
