Mpasatia Assembly members a superb town in Atwima Mponua District of Ashanti Region have overwhelmingly endorsed the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area Hon. Williams Darko to retain him in order to continue the massive developmental projects he has initiated.
The current and former Assembly members attest that the developments that have jumped up in the district under the leadership of the President Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo’s DCE is unprecedented in the history of the Mpasatia town, hence their implicit support for his detention.
The former Assemblyman, Hon Amankwatia and current Assemblyman Kwadwo Asante and some opinion leaders in the Mpasatia gave the endorsement on Thursday after some youth in Mpasatia peddled lies against the DCE.
Addressing the Media, Hon George Amankwatia the former Assemblyman now the deputy Constituency secretary, explain that all the projects have been made possible through the commitment of the current DCE, Hon Williams Darko whom he described as competent and workaholic.
He added that, the town has witnessed unprecedented development under the Williams Darko DCE, than previous DCEs hence the need for President Akuffo Addo to retain him for him to do more for the Mpasatia town.
On the part of Kwadwo Asante the current Assemblyman for Mpasatia respectively also touched the need for the current DCE to be retain staying what Mpasatia town seeks for is a developmental oriented DCE like Williams Darko. “He has a listening ear for all Assembly members irrespective of their political affiliation”.
Hon. Williams Darko DCE efforts, a lot of development has come to the district because of his hardworking and relationship between him and workaholic MP, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
Additionally, they credited the DCE with the Construction of three (3) 6 unit classroom blocks in Mpasatia Senior high school, girls dormitory for Mpasatia SHS which would contain 800 students, Mpasatia Police station, Mpasatia town roads is ongoing, 20 seater Ultramodern toilet is nearly completion, 36 people from Mpasatia have so far been enrolled on the afforestation programme. More than 500 people from Mpasatia had have been enrolled on the Community mining in the Mpasatia soil.
Some group in Mpasatia called the “red eyed youth” are called the President not to maintain Williams Darko.
According to the Assembly members, the youth comprises the above named was vigorously campaigned against Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo and Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
Moreover: the youth called President to appoint a female as the DCE, that female which sponsored them was against the NPP Parliamentary Candidate Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah 2020 Election in Atwima Mponua. “We know her” they hint.
