Hon Amankwaa Manu Files Nomination for Parliamentary Election

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma constituency and Deputy Defense Minister, Hon Kofi Amankwaah  Manu, has filed his nomination for the upcoming parliamentary election. The election is scheduled to take place on December 7.

Hon Amankwah Manu was accompanied by his party executives and supporters to the Electoral Commission office at Twedie, where he submitted his nomination forms. Speaking to newsmen after filing his nomination, Hon Amankwah Manu reiterated the need for the people of Atwima Kwanwoma constituency to give him and Dr. Bawumia another four-year term to do more for them.

“We have done a lot for the people of Atwima Kwanwoma constituency, but we need more time to complete our projects and initiatives,” Hon Amankwah Manu said. “I am confident that with another four years, we can transform this constituency into a model for development in Ghana.”

The Director of the Electoral Commission, Madam Elizabeth Ohene, expressed her readiness to welcome all candidates to file their nominations until Friday. She assured the public that the Commission is prepared to ensure a free and fair election.

“We are ready to receive all candidates who wish to file their nominations,” Madam Ohene said. “We will ensure that the process is transparent and fair, and that the will of the people is reflected in the outcome of the election.”

Hon Amankwah Manu’s nomination filing was met with excitement and enthusiasm from his supporters, who believe that he has done a lot for the constituency and deserves another term to continue his good work.

“We are happy to support Hon Amankwah Manu again,” said one of his supporters. “He has done a lot for us, and we believe that he will do even more if given another term.”
