“God Bless Our MP” – Market Women Applaud Hon. Frank Yeboah for GH¢1,000 Interest-Free Loans

Market women in the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency are singing the praises of their Member of Parliament, Hon. Frank Yeboah, following the launch of a life-changing financial support initiative aimed at boosting small-scale businesses.

The program, known as “Adwadifuo Anidaso” – meaning Hope for Traders – was launched at the Atwima Koforidua Market Square, where the first batch of twenty women each received GH¢1,000 interest-free loans to support and expand their businesses. In total, GH¢20,000 was disbursed under the first phase.

Grateful and excited, the beneficiaries praised the MP for thinking about their welfare during these challenging economic times.

“God bless our MP! This support has come at the right time. I can now restock my shop and meet my customers’ demands,” one trader said with joy.

“We’ve never seen anything like this before. An MP giving us free loans without interest? Hon. Frank Yeboah has won our hearts,” another added.

Hon. Yeboah explained that the initiative is part of a revolving loan scheme that provides flexible, interest-free financial assistance to hardworking traders, particularly women, across the constituency.

“Each trader will repay GH¢50 per week. Once they complete repayment, they will qualify for even larger amounts—up to GH¢2,000 or more—by the end of the year,” he said.

He assured the public that the program would be extended to other markets, and encouraged those who did not benefit in the first phase to remain patient, as plans are in place to reach every trader in need.

Hon. Yeboah urged beneficiaries to invest the funds wisely to grow their businesses and set an example for others.

The Adwadifuo Anidaso initiative forms part of the MP’s broader efforts to improve livelihoods, promote financial inclusion, and reduce poverty in Atwima Nwabiagya North. By the end of the year, the program is expected to support hundreds of market traders.
