A Non-governmental organization known as FAVOUR FOUNDATION has presented items worth Ghc 35,000.00 to the people of ASISIWA in the Zaabuso Electoral Area in the Sekyere Afram Plains district of Ashanti region.
The items include, mattress, toiletries, Sandals, Food, Drinks, Books, Pens, Pencils and clothes.
The founder of Favour Foundation, Mrs, Rosetta Yaa Henewaa Osei disclosed to the media what motivated the team to travel over 12hours from Accra to donated these items to Widows, Orphans and the residents of Asisiwa.
She used the occasion to appealed individuals to support the foundation to enable them extend their support to other communities.
The chief of Asisiwa, Adam Salifu who received the items on behalf of his subjects said, the items had come at the right time because the people of Asisiwa are in dire need of those items.
According to him, they have never seen this kind of donations before since the existing of the community.
He said even the government of Ghana, their member of Parliament and the district chief executive cannot do what the foundation has done for them.
He further appealed to Favour Foundation to come out with programs the will help the youth in the community to get access job training and quality education.
On his part, the newly elected Assembly member for Zaabuso Electoral Area, Hon. Fatau Moro also expressed gratitude gratitude to Mrs. Rosetta and her team.
