A Farmer identified as Daniel Anane has bravely dragged a fake military officer and a suspected drug peddler to the Twifo Hemang police station over possession of suspected marijuana (weed) in his bag and pocket.

Mr. Anane who is a native of Wassa Ateiku in the Wassa East District in the Western Region was on his way back from Cape Coast to Twifo Praso after a business transaction and while onboard a commercial vehicle with registration number CR 812- 23, saw this fake military man with weed in his bag and pocket.

The accuser whose action made all to ask questions, introduced himself to be a military officer and has found illegal drugs on the other passenger hence the beatings.

Daniel Anane who wasn’t convinced by the explanation of the so-called military personnel sought to probe further, thereby asking for the Identity Card of this man who couldn’t prove his identity.

The farmer therefore asked the driver of the vehicle to drive straight to the Twifo Hemang police station where both were detained.

At the station, the police after a thorough search found two parcels of substances suspected to be “wee” on the passenger, the quack military officer was beating.

According to Mr. Anane, he insisted the police conduct another search on the quack military officer too, where to their surprise, needles and other injectable concoctions where found.

After interrogations, the fake military officer suddenly claimed to be a Radio Presenter and subsequently a Veterinary Doctor to which he failed to issue an ID card to prove any of these professions.
