A 39 year old business woman,Nana Afia Serwaa I has been installed as new “Nkonya Soafuohemaa” for Asante Mampong traditional Council.
A colorful ceremony was held at Asante Mampong Queen mother’s palace.
Hundreds of friends,relatives and other dignities witnessed the occasion.
The Queen mother of Asante Mampong traditional Council, Nana Agyakoma Dufie II, urged her to promote traditional values and cultural heritage through her attitude.
Nana Afia Serwaa I, expressed gratitude to the Queen mother of Mampong traditional Council and all key stakeholders who supported her ambition.
In her appreciation, she pledged her support to partner the Queen mother of Mampong traditional Council,Nana Agyakoma Dufie II to fight against teenage pregnancy in the community.
