NPP Chairman Urges Full Participation in 2024 General Elections to Secure Development for Manso Adubia Constituency

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Manso Adubia constituency, Mr. Kofi Acheampong, has called on all constituents to actively participate in the upcoming 2024 general elections. His passionate appeal underscores the importance of voting to ensure the continuity of the NPP’s developmental projects within the constituency.

Mr. Acheampong made this call during an interview with the media, following a free health screening event organized by the Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, for residents of Manso Tontokrom and Manso Adubia. The Chairman took the opportunity to highlight the significant progress the constituency has experienced under the NPP government, emphasizing the need to “break the 8” — a slogan reflecting the party’s ambition to win a third consecutive term in office.

According to Mr. Acheampong, the NPP government has spearheaded numerous infrastructural projects in Manso Adubia, including the construction of roads, the establishment of health facilities, and improvements in educational infrastructure. He stressed that it is crucial for the people of Manso Adubia to recognize the progress made so far and actively support the NPP to continue these developmental efforts.

“The future of Manso Adubia depends on our collective efforts in the 2024 elections. We must come out in our numbers to vote and ensure that the NPP continues the good work it has started. Our constituency has seen significant development under the NPP, and we cannot afford to lose this momentum,” he said.

The Chairman also urged NPP members to engage in grassroots mobilization efforts, encouraging door-to-door campaigns to educate voters on the importance of the upcoming elections. He emphasized the need for party members to ensure that every eligible voter is registered and prepared to cast their ballot. “This election is not just about the NPP; it is about the future of our children and the prosperity of Manso Adubia,” he added.

The appeal from Mr. Acheampong comes as the NPP ramps up its campaign efforts ahead of the 2024 general elections, aiming to retain power and continue its development agenda across Ghana. With elections just months away, the party is focused on energizing its base and winning over undecided voters to secure a decisive victory.

Manso Adubia has historically been a stronghold for the NPP, and the party leadership remains confident that, with full participation from the electorate, they will secure another win. The leadership is also committed to continuing the constituency’s development in critical areas such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

In a related address during the health screening, Dr. Nicholas Ampiaw, a physician assistant from the Bawumia health team, advised residents on the dangers of hypertension. He warned that hypertension is a silent killer and urged Ghanaians to take proactive steps to monitor and control their blood pressure.

Several participants of the free health screening expressed their gratitude to the organizers, Chairman Kofi Acheampong, and MP Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, for the initiative. Many residents reported benefiting from the exercise, which provided essential health services to the community.

As the 2024 general elections approach, the NPP in Manso Adubia is hopeful that the constituents will heed the Chairman’s call for full participation, ensuring continued progress and development for the area.
