Koteihene organize clean up exercise to Mark 39th National Farmers day

The Chief of Kotei ,a Community within the Oforikrom Municipality, Nana Kofi Nkansah Amoaye on Friday 1st December 2023 organized a Clean up exercises to co coincide with the National Farmers’ Day Celebration to keep the environment tidy at all times,
Nana Amoaye, Koteihene who organized it expressed his Joy to see the enthusiasm of members of the community especially ( NDC/NPP) and members to make it a success,
He cautioned people against the habit of easing themselves any how in the Community and warned that anyone caught would be severely dealt with since since it is a recipe for the outbreak of diseases ,


Touching on challenges he is facing as a chief,he mentioned the roads in the area which are in deplorable state and therefore appealed to the Ashanti Regional Minister as well the Urban road department to come to the aid of the people in the community as well road uses before anything unfortunate happens,
Nana Kofi Nkansah use the occasion to thank all those who attended and said any Party that one belongs to we are all one,


The Assemblyman for Ayeduase, Kotei, Twumduase, Electoral area, Hon ,Justice Atobrah told the media that he has been organizing Communal labour and decided to do this with Nana Amoaye since the day was a holiday,
Touching on his chances of winning the incoming Assembly elections, he said, winning depends on what you have done for the area and was therefore hopeful to retain it.

The Deduako Kodiekrom Youth Association in the Oforikrom Municipality, in conjunction with the Municipal Assembly, the Assembly Member, chiefs and elders of the community, has organized a clean-up exercise to keep the environment tidy at all times.

The Assembly member for Deduako/Apemso electoral area who also doubles as the Presiding Member of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly Richard Nyarkoh expressed gratitude to Ayeduase Kotei Twumduase people who came to support the Clean up exercises as the Chiefs and the youth in the community
.Mr Michael Akwasi Aidoo the Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Oforikrom promised to bring development in terms of roads water security and educational facilities to the Community.

Another aspiring NDC parliamentary candidate for Oforikrom Constituency, Mr. Anwel Sadat Ahmed, advised the residents not to wait for any promptings in order to keep their surroundings clean, but rather do that periodically to keep contagious diseases at bay End.
