A tweep by the name Iyan Dollar has claimed on the microblogging site that Startrite School killed her 6-year-old cousin during a swimming lesson that went eerie at the school’s premises.
Speaking further, the aggrieved woman mentioned that the tragedy that occurred at the poolside that resulted in her cousin’s death saw the school failing to take any action thereafter.
According to her words, the swimming instructor tossed her multiple times at the shallow end of the pool and she hit her head, thereby suffering internal bleeding. She added that the school refused to take responsibility for the incident.
Dollar continued by saying the school has remained open and carried out its activities as if nothing happened.
She tweeted the following:
“On the 2nd of November due to the negligent behaviour of @startriteschool my cousin was killed (child in the 2nd frame).
We found a way to get evidence from the CCTV footage even though the school deliberately tried to cut the scenes of what exactly happened. (1) Our efforts to access justice has been frustrated by the school. All we want is justice. She was only 6 years. #justiceforModadeoluwa
The swimming instructor mishandled her and in the process killed her!!! they killed her and deleted the scenes of the CCTV footage and are trying to move on like it never happened!! @startriteschool you killed Modade!!.”
