2024 GENERAL ELECTIONS: GHANAIANS TOLD NOT TO BE DIVIDED BY ELECTIONS

The Reverend Isaac Kwabena Agyemang AKA Kaboo, the head pastor of the Lighthouse Assembly Of God Church Pankrono Estate B- line has urged Ghanaians especially politicians not to make statements that will divide the citizens along religious conflicts ahead of the 2024 elections.

Irresponsible statements, he explained, would undermine the peace and admirable interfaith cohesion the nation had enjoyed over the decades and lead the nation into violent conflict.

Rev. Agyemang argued that elections are not meat to fight each other all in the Name of choosing leader or president But to express your legitimate mandate on who to lead you or the country as a whole.

He urged the youth especially not to use this opportunity to do fight or insult each other. This, he said will not add any value to ones life, hence, distracting of the beautiful peace the country has enjoyed over the years.

Speaking to Kessben news in an exclusive interview at the Lighthouse Assembly Of God Church at Pankrono Estate B line, he called on all Ghanaians to see to it that elections are not for fighting but to express voting power each one have.

Touching on the immoral behaviours on part of the youth during Christmas festivities, The District pastor of the Buokrom District of the Assemblies Of God Ghana called on the youth to see the celebrations of Christmas as a way to remember Christ and thanked Him for His goodness and Mercies upon them.

He reiterated that it wouldn’t be nice for youth to be driven by the youthful exuberance that may warrant no action.

He urged the youth not to waste their times on alcohol and other drugs that may cause mayhem in their lifes.
