A woman has been accused of faking her own death on social media to avoid paying back a £220 loan she took out from a friend.
Now, the Indonesian woman has actually gone missing, and the woman who loaned out the money is yet to be paid.
Liza Dewi Pramita has found herself subject to accusations that she faked her own death on Facebook to avoid paying back the sum of money she borrowed.
The woman she borrowed the £220 from found the same images used on the social media post online.
Maya Gunawan claims that Liza borrowed the cash from her, but was unable to pay it back and so asked for an extension.

The woman agreed to Liza’s request and allowed her more time to pay back the money.
However, just as the second deadline was approaching, Liza’s daughter claimed on Facebook that she had tragically died in a car accident.
Shockingly, she went on to post images of ‘her’ dead body online.
Following the Facebook post, Maya said she was shocked to learn of the woman’s death.

Following the Facebook post, Maya became suspicious
But then, she grew suspicious of the post when Liza’s daughter revealed that she would be buried in Aceh Tamiang in Aceh Province, Indonesia.
This is because it is an unusually long distance from their home, also in Indonesia.
Maya then decided to search up the Facebook pictures that Liza’s kin posted, and discovered images without the woman’s face that appeared to be taken from the internet to apparently fake her demise.

In fact, the images were reportedly a screen grab from a TV show.
According to reports, she then went on to confront Liza’s daughter regarding her findings.
Allegedly, she confessed that the whole plan was faked in order to avoid paying back the loan.
However, despite the admission, Liza has reportedly gone missing without trace and Maya has yet to receive her £220 (INR 22,000).
