The groups of chairpersons of the various identifiable groups in Ashanti Region who have come together to form Asanteman Nkosuo ,NPP Mpontuo have registered their displeasure over the neglected by the party hierarchy.
Dr Mohammed Issa Ababio, chairman of Asanteman nkosuo,NPP Mpontuo addressing the media.
According to them ,we the members of Asanteman Nkosuo when NPP was in opposition spent out their little money, time and efforts to campaign for the party to won power, some have died,got injured and business collapsed with out any recognition, appreciation or reward.
We are appealing to you to urgently consider our petition.
We have every right to seek your audience and discuss our grievances which we have done. We are at your delay to our moderate requests. Do you want us troop to your office in red bands or abandoned and betray the party.
According to them they said ,they handed their to Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and the vice president Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia but nothing good has not come of out of it.
They added that their inaction is demoralizing the grassroots and killing the party.
We urge you to wake up an resurrected the party before it’s too late.
They said ,the grassroots always toil to garner votes for the party to win parliamentary and presidential elections,All Ghanaians testify that president John Akum Kuffour and Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo have developed Ghana more than any others but as always neglected the grassroots who break their backs in the scorching sun to campaign for them. This neglected has resulted in the reduction of NPP votes in successive elections.please give us our due ,financially and Job opportunities.
They pleaded that, all their members of the Asanteman Nkosuo are duly registered with the party and none should be left our with the financial reward scheme in progress. The on-going cash distribution should be done fairly. If the leftover of 2020 election fund us been used to reward party faithful, then they should share it equally. If any of the 2024 presidential hopeful is behind this rewarded scheme then he should reward or motivate without discrimination. Otherwise we shall deem him not a good leader and so unfit to be flag bearer of the great Osono party. Although we know behind this scheme we won’t mention name to enable John Boadu and the party hierarchy to investigate and come out with the right procedure for the award scheme.
Our petition to head office to enlarge the party’s voters register to make it difficult manipulate constituency, regional, parliamentary and presidential primaries has been widely embraced. Unfortunately we have proof that some constituency and regional executive are secretly registering and issuing NPP ID cards to enable them and cronies retain their seats on on the constituency and regional seats. They are the incompetent who sabotage the party and so are afraid of their own Shadows.
Every registration exercise should be publicized to enable all party faithful to fully party participated.
If this exercise is not stop immediately we will conclude by saying John Boadu is unfit to be the secretary of the NPP.
