The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has said that,there is no other chief at Drobonso apart from Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubinsiaw II.
Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubinsiaw II enstooled as chief of Drobonso for past seventeen(17) years now.
It recalled that, the late Paramount chief of Sekyere Kwamang traditional Council Barima Abyie Ntori Ninpa created sub-chief known as Mponuahene to Nana Kwaku Boakye Yiadom 1, to be in charge as Kwamang Nponuahene to hold double responsibility as chief of Drobonso while Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubinsiaw II continue to reigns as chief of Drobonso.
After which the then Kwamang Paramount chief,Barima Abayie Ntori Ninpa forwarded him to the house of chiefs and he was gazetted as Kwamang Nponuahene for Drobonso without the notice of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Later, this step took by the then Kwamang Paramount chief of Sekyere Kwamang always raise issues between the current chief of Kwamang, Barima Britwum Okyere Bediako II and chief of Drobonso Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubinsiaw II as who is the chief of Drobonso.
During the sitting of Kumasi traditional Council, Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubinsiaw II petitioned the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and Otumfuo maintained that, Drobonso stool land belongs to Kumawu traditional Council so chief of Kwamang has no power to create any sub-chief on the land and declares Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubinsiaw II as the one and only chief of Drobonso.
Otumfuo charged him to continue exercise his duty as chief of Drobonso.
