The affluent news caster Cum Philanthropist was honored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) for his tremendous performance in promoting development at the grassroots level across the country.
The young journalist has over the years, played a dominant role towards peaching peace and using his journalistic expertise to promote unity.
Samuel Adobah has many years of experience in reporting on issues about peace, social and human interest stories related to the achievement of the 2030 SDGs .
He is also the Executive Director of the Universal Friendship Organization (UFO), which is an International Non Governmental Organization that seeks to promote peace and strengthen friendships across the globe.
The Award winning Journalist, who was recently savagely assaulted by Military Officers at Olebu here in Accra when covering fire outbreak, was surprises for such a prestigious award.
The ardent Peace Promoter was also inducted as an Executive Member of the International Media Association Peace (IMP) after receiving the international Prestigious award.
He took the opportunity to encourage journalists in the Ghana to use their platforms to preach about peace for the betterment of the Nation. He also pledged readiness to lead the agenda

Speaking at the award ceremony, the National Secretary-General of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Ghana, Dr. Helen Osei underscored the need for the media to work towards sustaining peace in Ghana and globally.
She charged the media to promote the values of interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universal values.
Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is an international and interreligious network of individuals and organizations, including representatives from religion, government, civil society, and the private sectors dedicated to achieving world peace.
It has a general NGO consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, supporting the work of the United Nations, particularly in the areas of interfaith peacebuilding, peace education, and the strengthening of marriage and family.
It was founded by Rev. Sun Myeun Moon in 2005. It has a special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the UN.
