Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin has expressed his displeasure with those who insult President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaking at the inauguration of Archeaconry Service held at the St. Martin Anglican Church in Kyebi on Sunday, October 23, 2022, which was graced by President Akufo-Addo as part of his tour of the region, the Okyenhene indicated that the President must be respected and protected at all cost.
According to him, Ghanaians should appreciate the developmental projects that has been introduced by the Akufo-Addo lef government.
The overlord of Akyem Abuakwa, stated that the current economic hardship is a global problem so Ghanaians should trust government to overturn the situation.
However, he described those who insult the President as villagers and witches because he believes only such people can insult the President.
“Those insulting the President are children of villagers. They are uncivilized. No well-nurtured person will insult an elderly. If you were raised in the Church you will not insult an elder. If you are not villager then you may be a witch or wizard”, he said.
