Tabita Pulakuu International Ghana Chapter threatens court action against EC officials, individuals who will prevent qualified Ghanaian Fulanis from registering in the upcoming New Voter Registration Exercise.
We have realized that we the fulani community in Ghana, we are always denied of our right as much as national exercises are concerned and we shall not sit down this time round.
We are always intimidated, maltreated and always denied of our right but not this time so this is a strong warning to EC officials and individuals who will prevent Ghanaians Fulanis from registering or go through the process will have to prove that in court.
The warning is also to all representatives of various political parties never to attempt to deny any qualified Ghanaian Fulani to go through the voter registration process.
We use this opportunity also to call out all Ghanaian fulanis who qualifies with the required documents or qurantors as demanded by the Electoral Commission to come out in their numbers to register since it’s their constitutional right.
Also advised them to adhere to all the protocols and guidelines surrounding the registration.
