Business Mogul Divine Nana Kwadwo Owusu Donates to Juaso Caring Home Village to Mark Birthday

In a touching gesture of compassion and social responsibility, celebrated entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mr. Divine Nana Kwadwo Owusu, CEO of Divine Nana Owusu Company, marked his birthday by donating essential supplies and cash to the Caring Home Village, an orphanage located in Juaso in the Asante Akim South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The donation, valued at GH¢30,000, included 20 crates of eggs, bags of rice, canned mackerel, cartons of milk, soft drinks, Kalypo juice boxes, and an undisclosed amount of cash. The items are expected to provide critical support to meet the daily nutritional and operational needs of the children at the home.
Speaking to the media after the presentation, Mr. Owusu said he chose to spend his special day giving back to society and bringing smiles to the faces of vulnerable children. “Instead of throwing a big party, I decided to come here and share my birthday with these amazing children. It is our responsibility as citizens to support the less privileged and help build a caring society,” he said.
Mr. Owusu also used the opportunity to call on individuals, churches, NGOs, and corporate bodies to emulate such acts of kindness and extend support to underprivileged groups across the country.
Receiving the items on behalf of the orphanage, Mrs. Grace Owusu, Director of Caring Home Village, expressed deep appreciation to Mr. Owusu for what she described as a timely and life-changing intervention.
“This donation means a lot to us. Feeding the children and meeting their daily needs is always a challenge, so this support is truly appreciated,” she stated.
Mrs. Owusu further appealed to government agencies, development partners, and philanthropists to support the facility with infrastructure development. “We have started constructing two apartment blocks to house the children, but we lack the financial resources to complete them. The number of orphans keeps rising, and we urgently need additional space to accommodate them,” she explained.
She added that any individual or organization that supports the building of new infrastructure would have the facility named in their honor.
Additionally, the home is in dire need of a school bus to transport the children to school, as the current school building cannot accommodate all inmates. “We are calling on all well-meaning Ghanaians to come to our aid. The children deserve better, and with your help, we can provide them with a brighter and more secure future,” she said.
The occasion ended with joyful singing, prayers, and words of appreciation for Mr. Owusu, who reaffirmed his commitment to continue supporting the home and similar institutions across the country.
