The Sefwi Bekwai Youth Movement has on Thursday September 22, 2022, held a press conference to appeal to president Akufo-Addo, IGP, Attorney General, Police Prosecutor to ensure that justice prevails in the gruesome murder of a 27 year-old Martha Tetteh at Sefwi Atwima in the Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
Barely two months ago, residents of Sefwi Bekwai woke up to the gruesome murder of Martha Tetteh, who’s head was cut off living a lifeless body.
The Ghana Police Service later said it arrested four suspects in connection with the murder.
However, the Sefwi Bekwai Youth Movement led by their leader, Mr Eric Nkansah,(Kwaku Baako) are not happy over how the case is being handled.
At the press conference ,they served notice to Inspector General of Police (IGP), Attorney General, Police Prosecutor, Judge to let rule of law work on the matter for justice to prevail to save the image of Sefwi Bekwai and its environs.
The Sefwi Bekwai Youth Movement invoked the gods a powerful river ‘anorku’ to deal with any individual who attempt to circumvent justice for the murdered girl.
The Sefwi Bekwai Youth Movement called on the paramount chief of the area ,the Member if Parliament, the District Chief Executive to add their voices to the call for justice.
