Residents in Offinso south Stage “wada daa Yen” Demo against MP, MCE and Cocoaboard Boss over Bad Roads and Electrification

Residents of Baniekrom, and Wawase in the Offinso south municipality has stage a massive demonstration against their Member of Parliament Hon. Isaac  Yaw Opoku and MCE Mr Kingsley Owusu-Appiah for not showing much commitment in addressing the developmental challenges especially the poor rural roads and light among others.

The demonstration is dubbed “WADA DAA YEN” to express the outmost disappointment in their representative in parliament.

Many people have expressed great concerns about the poor state of the roads and also the attitude of their Mp since he got the mandate to represent them.

According to them, in as much as he is responsible for making laws as a legislature, he is also responsible for lobbying projects into the constituency to alleviate the people from suffering and hardship.

Speaking to AngelFm’s Bawa Baidoo in an interview,”According to them, they have  heard that, the MCE would soon toured the area and they are warning him to  never step foot there because they have failed the Community ,and also telling them that they drive him away from election 2024 if their problem still remain the same .

Meanwhile the chief of Bonsua, Nana owusu Agyeman said, he is very disappointed in the Cocoboard CEO Joseph Boahen Edu for his deceitful campaign message during 2020 elections.

I went to the MCE office and he told me that next week the contract will come on the road but he has deceived me.
