Hairdressers Encouraged to Embrace Professionalism and Continuous Learning — Weave Ghana Official

Hairdressers have been encouraged to approach their profession with greater seriousness and dedication to skills development in order to achieve excellence and drive industry growth.

Miss Angela Ayishetu Baba, Marketing Lead of Weave Ghana Limited, made the call during the launch of two new haircare products — Obaasima 2X Hair and Mega Growth Relaxer — at the Kumasi Cultural Centre. She stressed that consistent education and participation in workshops are vital for hairdressers seeking to enhance their expertise and remain competitive.

“Hairdressing is a noble and rewarding profession that demands hard work, creativity, and continuous learning,” Miss Baba stated. “To provide top-notch services and build strong client loyalty, hairdressers must constantly update their knowledge about hair care and modern treatment techniques.”

According to her, taking the profession seriously not only benefits individual businesses but also contributes to the elevation of standards within the beauty and wellness industry. She advised hairdressers to treat each client with care and professionalism, noting that satisfied clients are key to sustaining and expanding their businesses.

Highlighting the benefits of the newly introduced products, Miss Baba said Obaasima 2X Hair and Mega Growth Relaxer were developed to support hairdressers in delivering superior results. She added that the products are formulated with high-quality ingredients to promote healthy hair growth and strengthen hair against damage.

The well-attended launch event featured practical demonstrations on the application and advantages of the new products. Many participants expressed optimism that the products would empower them to better serve their customers and meet growing market demands.

Miss Baba concluded her address by urging hairdressers to adopt a professional mindset, embrace new technologies, and continuously invest in personal development to secure long-term success in the beauty industry.

The event attracted a diverse audience, including salon owners, hair stylists, beauty entrepreneurs, and distributors, who welcomed the initiative as a step towards strengthening the industry and enhancing service delivery.
