Peace and Love Baptist Church in Wasa Dompoase in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region has donated education materials worth GHC 25,000 to Dompoase Basic School.
The items presented includes, 50 pieces of dial desks, 6 set of teachers table and chairs, 450 pieces of exercise books,150 note books,150 pieces of drawing books,3 boxes of pen, eraser, bags of cement and footballs.
The head pastor of the church, Rev. Albert Odoom said that, christianity is the form of demonstrating the true love of God towards mankind in the area of human development which has motivated the leadership of the church to support to school.
He said the presentation from part of their cooperate social responsibility to facilities the needs of the people in the communities.
Rev Albert Odoom However urged all Christian to support the Government policy towards free senior high school which he thinks has brighter future on next generation.
The headmistress of the school, Juliana Arthur expressed gratitude to the church and appealed to the government to extend school feeding program to the school to enable the pupils over there get their shares of national cake.
