Over 100 Artisans Receive Free Medication and Health Checks from Phoenix Insurance

More than 100 artisans at Suame Magazine Zone 2 in the Ashanti Region have received free medical screening and medication through a health outreach programme organized by Phoenix Insurance Company as part of its corporate social responsibility commitment.

The exercise provided comprehensive screening for common health conditions, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, and general consultations. Beneficiaries identified with potential complications were referred to appropriate health facilities for further examinations and treatment.

Addressing the media after the successful screening, the Head of Micro Insurance at Phoenix Health, Mrs. Ivy Kyerewa Dadzie, urged Ghanaians to make their health a priority by going for regular medical checkups. She emphasized that many life-threatening diseases show little or no symptoms at early stages, making early detection essential.

Mrs. Dadzie encouraged the public to take advantage of free screening exercises whenever they are organized, stressing that such initiatives help people understand their health status and take preventive measures before conditions worsen.

On his part, the Head of Operations at Phoenix Insurance Company, Mr. Gabriel Adu Asare, clarified that the company’s health screening exercise was not restricted to only clients or policyholders. He said the initiative was open to everyone within the community, explaining that Phoenix Insurance seeks to support both its customers and the general public.

Mr. Asare also used the platform to educate participants about the company’s Ahotor Plan, a tailored insurance package designed to help traders make affordable contributions and obtain insurance cards that guarantee access to healthcare services.

Many of the beneficiaries expressed profound appreciation to Phoenix Insurance Company for bringing essential health services to their doorstep. They described the outreach as timely, urging their colleagues and the wider public to patronize Phoenix Insurance products and take their health seriously.
