The 1982 year group of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS) has constructed a 20-seater toilet facility and also donated 403 textbooks ,97 story books worth thousands of Ghana Cedis for their alma mater.
The gesture, aimed at giving back to their former school, is part of the group’s efforts to support the institution’s development and improve the learning environment for current students.
The state-of-the-art toilet facility, which was officially handed over to the school authorities, is equipped with modern amenities to ensure hygiene and comfort for users.
The project was funded through contributions from members of the 1982 year group, who came together to make a positive impact on their former school.
Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, the leader of the 1982 year group, Mrs Janet Amoako expressed their commitment to supporting OKESS and giving back to the community that nurtured them.
“We are proud to have had the opportunity to attend OKESS, and this is our way of showing appreciation and giving back to the school,” she added.
The assistant headmaster of OKESS, thanked the 1982 year group for their generosity and support, stating that the facility would greatly benefit the students and staff.
