NPP IDENTIFIABLE GROUPS CHASED WONTUMI AT PARTY’S OFFICE OVER DENIED OF JOB OPPORTUNITY

Highly peeved grassroot supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) known as NPP Identifiable Groups this morning stormed the Ashanti regional party office to expressed their grievances.

The group invaded the forecourt of the regional office to protested against the Regional Chairman Mr. Benard Antwi Bosiako a.k.a “Wontumi” and challenged him on why he has deliberately keeping their funds and withheld all juicy opportunities allocated for them from the presidency as a reward for their hard works.

They have  questioned Mr. Wontumi to provide them answers on whether the party NEC and for that matter President Akuffo Addo has reserved slots for them and if yes, why has none of the grassroot who are members of NPP identifiable groups have not been considered for any of such political opportunities?

“Since we supported the party, none of us have even been recruited into Police, immigration, custom, army or any of the job opportunities”, a red-eye members noted amidst tears.

Addressing the media, the group swore heaven and earth to face the party executives squarely at the venue marked for the upcoming NPP delegates Congress come 19th December 2021.

“We are sending this strong warning to them. If they don’t address our needs within a grace period of one week, we will storm the venue for the Congress and resist without failure the party executives from holding the Congress” Chairman for the group Dr. Issah Ababio roared.

He lamented bitterly that ” our leadership use us for dirty work but when opportunities come, they behave as though we are aliens to the party. We have served the party since 2016 but we have not enjoyed even a single slot…I’m reiterating, if they don’t settle us, we will stop the Congress”.
