NPP GOVERNMENT IS COMMITTED TO SUPPORT PRIVATE SCHOOL FOR QUALITY EDUCATION- Amansie South DCE

The District Chief Executive of Amansie south district of the Ashanti Region, Hon. Clement Opoku Gyamfi has echoed governments readiness to support private schools to promote quality education in the country.

The Amansie South DCE stated emphatically that NPP government led by his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is committed to support private schools proprietors to enable them put up more edifices to enhance quality education for all.

According to him, government alone cannot make quality education possible, hence there is the need for individuals to assist the government in promoting quality education for all and sundry.

“Well-resourced individuals and corporate entities must come on board to support government to put up classroom blocks, hospitals, decent toilet facilities, social amenities and other projects to make life easier for ordinary Ghanaians, he added.

Hon. Opoku Gyamfi said these during the commissioning of TONY ONE Educational Complex at Manso Datano in the Amansie south district yesterday.

He charged the people in the district give their maximum support to promote quality education in the area to enable them boast of lawyers, doctors, ministers, MPs, MMDCEs and prominent people in the near future.

He beseeched the proprietor of the school to employ qualified and professional teachers for the students to acquire knowledge and become men and women of substance in society.

He charged the users of the facility to adopt culture of maintenance for its intended purposes.

For his part, the proprietor of the school, Mr. Yahaya Sule also known as Tony One, used the opportunity to appeal to government to give equal attention to private schools in the country when recruiting professional teachers into public school.

He said private schools play vital role in the countrys education but little attention have been to them by previous governments.

Mr Yahaya Sule said giving education for the people in the area was one his topmost priority.

He appealed to residents to make education a topmost priority for their children and wards, calling on them (parents) to enroll them (children) at TONY ONE Educational Complex.
