Ladies and gentlemen of the press, we the NDC YOUTH in the northern part of Ghana call on you this afternoon to express our concern as fulanis to the first lady of republic of Ghana Her Excellency Hajjia Samira Bawumia.
Since she became the second lady of the Republic of Ghana as a Fulani which all fulanis including us now defected to NDC voted for her party (npp) and been proud of her but she has forgotten her brothers and sisters of the Ghanaian fulanis.
Fulanis has never experience ATROCITIES since Ghana’s independence like when we have a SECOND lady been a Fulani.
We the Ghanaian fulanis are really disappointed in our own sister Hajjia Samira Bawumia.
1) Fulanis are intimidated
2) Fulanis are being discriminated
3) Fulanis rights are been abused
4) Fulanis are being murdered in cold blood.
All these been meted out to the fulanis without any justice during their term of office, and our sister the second lady never thought of speaking for once since she became the second lady of republic of Ghana for almost 4years in office.
On top of it all, During Ghana 🇬🇭 card registration, almost all fulanis were denied access to register meanwhile we meet the requirements and same is happening in New voter registration.
And she has been silence on these issues as she been our most high hope to be coming to our aid but it has rather turned to be a great disappointment.
Fulanis are law abiding and we shall continue to be law abiding citizens and the only thing we want now is our freedom as citizens of Ghana 🇬🇭 that we can always exercise our constitutional right anytime the need be.
We are calling on the second Lady to respond to us now before she will come to us only when it’s time for her to seek for our votes for her party.
We pray and hope our sister will hear our cry and do the needful for us.
