The traditional authorities of Amansie south district of the Ashanti region, have expressed gratitude to president Akuffo Addo for carved the district out of Amansie west district which is yielding positive impact on the people.
Amansie south district is carved out of Amansie west district as one of the 38 newly created and upgraded district Assemblies in 2018 by president Akuffo Addo.
Speaking at the press conference held at Manso Adubia, the chief of Manso-Akwasiso, Nana Kwakye Gyimah Yeboah II, who spoke on behalf of traditional authorities said that,
Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo,(MP) Deputy minister for Agriculture, designate
they are much grateful to the president for appointing their own son, Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo as deputy minister of agricultural.

He however used the occasion to appealed to the president to reappoint the current Dce,Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi as DCE to enable him continue with his good works.
Nana Gyimah maintained that, the Dce in his few months into office has established good relationship with traditional authorities and individuals citizens in the district which he they think will help promote development.
He used the occasion to reminded the president to honor his promise made to them during his campaign visit to the community to help complete the ongoing road construction from Mim junction–Datano to help promote businesses in the community.
He moreover highlights on the government promise made on extension of rural electrification project to 25 Communities in the district.
After the occasion, the constituency organizer,Mr Peter Attah Asenso and party executives together with some residents of the district also appealed to president Akuffo Addo to maintain their DCE, Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi to continue enhance peaceful co-existing and development in the district.
