N/R: Community members killed a giant crocodile that eats their animals at the river site

A very big crocodile has been killed at river site by community members in the Northern region, the incident happened at kugu in the yendi municipality.

According the them, the giant crocodile has killed all their animals including fowls, it stays in the big river at the community which serve as a source of water supply to the community, normally it comes out in the night to hunt for food, because of this, it has killed plenty of our animals, we reported this to the authorities of the town yet nothing has been done to move the crocodile to a different site, it was Monday morning when it killed a calf at the community, this made the youth to launched an attack on the giant crocodile.

After killing it they sent the big crocodile to their chief Palace to inform him about their action, many people have advised the to throw it away as it’s not allow by tradition to eat this kind creature, others said they will eat it as nothing will happen to them.
