MTN Ghana has been officially recognized as the flagship performer in the 2025 MTN Group Million Dollar Challenge, emerging as the top-performing operating company among MTN’s global operations. The announcement was made at the MTN Global Leadership Gathering (GLG) 2026, a prestigious event that brought together senior leaders from MTN operations worldwide to celebrate outstanding performance, innovation, and strategic execution.

The Million Dollar Challenge is MTN Group’s premier internal competition, designed to drive operational excellence, innovation, and value creation across all MTN operating companies. MTN Ghana’s remarkable achievement underscores its market-leading performance, strong financial results, and ability to scale transformative platforms across Fintech, Enterprise, and Consumer segments.

In addition to the overall top recognition, MTN Ghana earned six major awards, further cementing its status as one of the Group’s most consistent and forward-driven businesses. These awards include:

Million Dollar Challenge 2025 – Connectivity (Enterprise)

Million Dollar Challenge 2025 – Fintech (MoMo Ghana)

CEO of the Year – Fintech: Shaibu Haruna, MoMo Ghana
