MMDCE Elections: Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi Earns 89.2% Endorsement As Amansie South DCE

Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi has earned 89.2% endorsement from elected assembly members of Amansie South District.

At the assembly’s version of the MMDCEs confirmation election held on Friday, out of 37 elected assembly members
33 voted YES represented 89.2% whiles
4 voted NO also represented 10.8%
confirmation of their approval of his reappointment by President Nana Addo-Danquah Akuffo Addo.

Adorned in an all- white apparel, the elected assembly members celebrated the Clement Opoku Gyamfi after the results were declared by EC official Mr. Eric Anane.

Present at the occasions were representative of the Ashanti regional Minister Mr. Dennis Kwakwa (Reg NABCO Director), representatives from the Asanko Gold mines and Member of Parliament for the constituency Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo and traditional authorities and others.

In his thanksgiving address, Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi thanked the assembly members for the 100 percent electoral support and pledged to continue with the good work.

He assured that he will heighten his cordial relationship with them and maintain his focus on the development of Amansie South District.


Hon Opoku noted successes that were chalked during his first term as the DCE earned the district enviable position on the district league table.

Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi promised that in his 2nd term in office, he ensure that all developmental projects that the assembly hoped to execute are kick-started and brought to a successful completion.
