Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Manso Adubia Constituency have congratulated Hon. Benjamin Marfo, the President’s nominee for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South in the Ashanti Region.
In a statement to Achoicenewsonline and other media platforms on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the constituency executives, along with several party supporters, expressed their excitement about the nomination and called on all residents, especially members of the NDC, to rally firmly behind the nominee.
They emphasized that the collective support of Assembly Members, traditional leaders (Nananom), party faithful, and the general public would be critical in ensuring a successful confirmation and smooth administration.
“Let’s all rally behind the President’s nominee for Manso Adubia District. Also, we are appealing to all party members and residents in the Amansie South District to remain calm and work tirelessly with the nominee, Benjamin Marfo. We must prioritize the district’s development over personal interests,” they stated.
The NDC members underscored that the district’s progress depended largely on unity and collaboration among all stakeholders, irrespective of political affiliations. They expressed optimism that Hon. Benjamin Marfo, once confirmed, would work diligently to address the development needs of Amansie South, including infrastructure, education, health care, and youth empowerment.
They also stressed the need for unity within the rank and file of the NDC, pointing out that unity would help President John Mahama and his appointees to effectively implement policies and programs designed to improve the lives of all Ghanaians.
“As party members and citizens, it is our duty to support the President’s vision for national development. We believe that with teamwork, Hon. Marfo will succeed in bringing the needed transformation to Amansie South,” they concluded.
The President’s nomination of District Chief Executives across the country is seen as a strategic move to strengthen local governance and fast-track development projects at the grassroots level. Stakeholders in Amansie South are hopeful that this new appointment will mark the beginning of a new chapter of growth for the district.
