Massive Relief Support Hits Atwima Takyiman/Denkyemuoso as Kofi Job Foundation Steps In

A wave of joy and relief swept through the Atwima Takyiman/Denkyemuoso Electoral Area following a massive donation exercise carried out by the Kofi Job Foundation, which benefited more than 60 widows and orphans in the community.

The initiative, which formed part of the foundation’s broader humanitarian outreach, provided critical support to some of the most vulnerable members of society—widows, orphans, and residents of the Chosen Generation of Jesus Christ Children’s Home.

Hon. David Asare, the Assembly Member for the area, expressed deep appreciation for the intervention and highlighted the profound impact it had on the lives of local beneficiaries. He explained that the support followed a public announcement aired on OTEC 102.9 FM, which prompted a large number of widows and orphans to visit the radio station’s premises to register for the donation.

With guidance from the Kofi Job Foundation, the applicants were organized and issued identification numbers to ensure a smooth and fair distribution process. The relief items distributed included bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, frozen chicken, and undisclosed amounts of money to help ease their daily burdens.

“More than 30 widows and 30 orphans from my electoral area received this support,” Hon. Asare revealed. “Many of these individuals live in extremely difficult conditions, and the intervention by the Kofi Job Foundation came as a blessing to them. Their excitement and gratitude were overwhelming.”

He further noted that the Chosen Generation of Jesus Christ Children’s Home, a key orphanage in the area, also benefited significantly from the donation. Over 30 children at the facility were provided with essential food items and other forms of support to improve their well-being.

Hon. Asare described the foundation’s generosity as a “rare and timely act of mercy,” stressing that such interventions play a crucial role in alleviating poverty and restoring dignity to disadvantaged families. He also praised the foundation for not only recognizing the plight of the poor but taking bold steps to address their needs directly.

“This was not just a donation—it was a message of hope. The smiles on the faces of these widows and orphans tell the real story. For many, it was the first time in a long while that someone remembered them,” he said.

The Kofi Job Foundation’s recent exercise is part of a broader campaign that reached over 1,000 widows and needy individuals across various districts. The organization, known for its consistent acts of philanthropy, continues to focus on empowering deprived communities through practical and life-changing support.

Residents of Atwima Takyiman/Denkyemuoso have since commended the foundation and called on other benevolent groups and individuals to follow suit in extending kindness to the vulnerable.

Hon. David Asare concluded by encouraging sustained partnerships between development-oriented organizations and local assemblies to ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of community progress.
