Residents of 27 communities in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region are in high spirits following their long-awaited connection to the national electricity grid. This monumental development, which has been years in the making, is being celebrated as a transformative milestone in the district’s development.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Member of Parliament for the Manso Adubia Constituency, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, and supported by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, marks a significant stride in the government’s commitment to improving rural infrastructure and uplifting underserved communities.

Among the communities now enjoying electricity are Akyekyerekrom, Groso, Manukro, Yaw Kasa, Brikyakrom, and several adjoining areas. Resident Reactions
